Create a Blurred Background for Articulate Storyline 360 Courses

Have you ever wanted to apply a blurred background effect for scenarios or other slides in Storyline but then decided not to because it seemed like too much work? Well, the round-trip editing feature in Articulate Storyline 360’s Media Library makes it quick and easy to jump over to a tool like SnagIt, apply a quick filter, and jump right back.

I timed myself. It took 27 seconds.

Sometimes, it’s best to use built-in Storyline features such as color and contrast effects, to manipulate images, because you can easily make adjustments later or built the effects into a flexible template. But when you need more robust effects, round-trip editing to other applications can help you be more creative and more efficient—I like that combination!

    Nice! Thanks, Diane…

I didn’t know about the RT function in the Media Library; this will certainly save a lot of time!
