Event Recap: Articulate E-Learning Heroes Community Event
This past week, I had the exciting opportunity to attend and present at very first Articulate E-Learning Heroes Community Event in the beautiful city of Toronto. For those of you who are actively involved in the Articulate Community, you’ve undoubtedly seen posts from people begging for Articulate to host some type of event in Canada. Needless to say, the Articulate users in Canada were thrilled when the event was finally announced.
For this event, I had the pleasure of presenting my Top 10 Articulate Storyline Tips, Secrets, and Time-Savers. I thought it would be helpful to make these tips available to everyone, so I recorded a series of short videos to demonstrate each tip:
- #1 Cue Points
- #2 Format Painter
- #3 Change Picture
- #4 Checkbox Text
- #5 Hiding Objects on Base Layer
- #6 Feedback Master for Slide Layers
- #7 Button Sets
- #8 Color Themes
- #9 Timeline Jump
- #10 Keyboard Shortcuts
All in all, it was a fantastic event, and I loved meeting all of the e-learning folks in Canada. I also had a great opportunity to hang out with David Anderson and Nicole Legault from the Articulate Community team; as well as with a few of my fellow Articulate Super Heroes: Tracy Parish, Michael Hinze, Nancy Woinoski, Stephanie Harnett, and Ashley Chiasson.
Here are some of my pictures from the event:
Lastly, feel free to check out the workshop page to see details about the other presentations.
Great recap, Tim. Thanks again for helping make our Toronto a wicked success!
Thanks David! I was happy to help out!
Can you share the one-slide “Theme Decoder” for PowerPoint (ref. tip #8)? What a great tool!
